
A Senior Advisor at Crest Hill, Neile Miller is a budget and policy expert with extensive government experience, particularly in the energy and nuclear security arena.
In her most recent government service, Neile served as Acting Under Secretary of Energy for Nuclear Security and PrincipalDeputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).During her tenure, she designed and led the organizational and operational transformation of the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Enterprise, earning OutstandingPublic Service Awards from both the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary ofEnergy.
Before joining NNSA, Neile served as BudgetDirector of the Department of Energy (DOE), where she also sat on the CreditReview Board and the Risk and Credit Committees of DOE's Loan Programs Office.She previously held several senior management positions in DOE's Office ofNuclear Energy.
Neile has twice served in the White HouseOffice of Management and Budget (OMB), where her portfolio spanned NNSA, DOE, the Department of Defense, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
In addition to her work at Crest Hill, Miller serves as a Vice President with the management and operating contractor for the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS). She brings broad private sector experience in strategy and business development with companies supporting federal programs.
Miller holds a bachelor's degree from Vassar College and a master’s degree from Georgetown University's School of ForeignService.
